Over the last six months, I have started purchasing many samples of Pu-erh, Aged White, and various Oolong teas to acquire just the right balance for long-term aging and to drink now. Although the teacake was more than I had initially planned to spend for Pu-erh tea, it was so unique in its tastes compared to the many tea samples I had tried I felt it worth to buy as many of these cakes that my budget would allow. I am happy to say I bought out the remaining inventory! This twenty-year-old tea is sweet with a beautifully aged caramel, bright, and fresh taste without being astringent or moldy. The aroma is an excellent blend of sweetness, and it quickly takes you to a beautiful mood while drinking. It was an investment, but I feel it was worth every cent. I plan to enjoy this charming treasure throughout the next quarter of my life. I considered I would rather pay more now for a definite winner than spend less on tea that I do not enjoy nearly as much. Life’s too short to drink anything that doesn’t make you appreciate the experience, the moment and taste every time.
