This is a marvelous set. The four horizontal red clay teapots are decorated with plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum separately, which are known as the “Four Gentlemen” and represent the “four seasons of the flowers”, They carry the characters of nobility, modesty and strive to become stronger,. These teapots were produced in the 80s, they are made of purple clay and brushed with Zhuni clay outside of the teapot.
They are worthy for collection.
